An antique Persian Tabriz Square carpet. The proportions have changed, but the classic book-cover Tabriz style remains unmistakable. The medallion is ivory, the surrounding field is rust with a mobile leaf pattern. Rosettes elaborated in brown mark the border. There are no strong reds or blues.
