Wool pattern wefts in a warp-sharing technique. Bold stripes pass over the border bands and converge toward the center, all in shades of teal, black, salmon, and yellow. This modern carpet truly needs no furniture and is best enjoyed without it—Op Art for the floor. The inward-moving V shapes seem to "pass over" the border, creating an ambiguous sense of three-dimensionality. The single light-colored V in the lower part slightly disrupts the strong geometry.
