A wool pile with asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The grey-green field is nearly covered by a splayed tiger skin, with markings reminiscent of Turkish textiles and rugs, particularly the so-called 'lips' pattern. An inner ecru border features simplified coin dots, while a larger frame displays diagonal 'rain' stripes.
