A silk pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The canary yellow field presents three similar still lifes of dishes on stands, dotted pots, ceramic vases, and abstract fruit including pomegranates and Buddha’s Hand citrons. Six patterned narrow borders incorporate Turkmen and Persian designs, including reversing carnations. The field imagery is oriented sideways, while the weaving begins at the physical bottom.
