This wool weft-faced weave features ten strips displaying striped, banded, and paneled sections in natural shades of charcoal, beige, gray, and sand. Each column section is unique, with no indication of symmetrical borders. The piece could potentially be narrowed by removing or folding under a long section. Based on the variety of the sections, at least ten distinct long bands were used to create this exceptional piece.
