Wool pattern wefts. This piece is composed of ecru plain squares and polychrome striped squares in vertical and horizontal orientations, in a regular chessboard layout. The colored squares came from the same long band, over 70 feet long. Usually these pieces are made as parallel strips rather than as contrasting chessboard arrays. Makes a great cover as well as a floor piece. Size adjustable. Could be divided into bedcovers or quilts.
