A vintage East Turkestan Khotan Saph runner. Designed as a saph (communal mosque prayer rug) with ten niches for very narrow people. The niches are similarly patterned with a flowering tree-of-life, but each panel has a distinct colorway. The design directionality and small size make it attractive as a wall hanging rather than as a floor covering.
