This piece features a wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The field is predominantly bitonal, with a horizontally oriented allover spattered pattern of highly irregular polygons in denim blue on a straw-colored ground. The design is framed by an inner T-fret minor border and a major border with a concise rendition of the "clouds and rain" repeat.
