A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Inscribed Firdes or Firdaus. This charmingly naïve tribal pictorial shows a caravan of three camels and a mounted lead donkey, on the sandy straw natural open field. Implicit border of simple plants and rosettes on legs. Firdaus is an esteemed rug weaving center in eastern Persia.
