A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a wool foundation. Despite signs of wear, this khurgin (saddlebag) face remains an impressive tribal piece, featuring an offset hexagonal lattice on a dark blue field, detailed in ecru, red, and rose. A small animal stands in a side reserve. The rust-red ‘wave’ border adds a striking finish. A fine example of a highly collectible type.
