A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. This rather large Qashghai tribal scatter shows an ecru field supporting two distinct poles, each of four joined diamonds, with double hooked edges, in ruby and buff. Three similar, but floating, diamonds run up the center. Lattice mosaic main border. A very good example of post-WWI Qashghai work.
