An antique Persian Gabbeh rug. This vintage Qashghai gabbeh scatter has an ivory field displaying six birds in flight, four centipedes and three small goats, all within a border of plain red and colorful kilim pattern reciprocal triangles. The birds, all top view, must have been adapted from a print.
