A vintage Persian Hamadan Pictorial rug. A small figure leads a Turkmen wedding brown Bactrian camel to the left on the old ivory field. The bride peers out from her litter above, decorated with a Turkmen gul design. Below is an asmalyk also decorated with guls and displaying tassels. The angular nas’taliq inscription identifies this accurately rendered scene.
