A vintage Persian Karajeh runner. Many Karaja runner is below three feet in width and this makes them particularly versatile as this example indicates with an alternation of seven octogramme and hooked hexagons which forms a central pole medallion on the taupe field with supporting abstract flowers. The narrow dark brown border of this NW Persian runner has stars and rosettes.
