A vintage Persian Kashan Pictorial rug. En suite to rug # 20024, this well-woven mat shows a Persian girl offered a large, red apple by her blue-clad suitor. The action takes place beneath weeping willow and plane (chenar) trees on an ivory ground with a townscape visible along the horizon line.
