The field shows four columns of octagons and three interstitial columns of flowers, on a camel-brown ground. The main central border presents an ochre ground with profile palmettes and hexagons. Single weft weave on cotton points to Hamadan rather than Serab. But the name is secondary to the real artistic ingenuity involved.
