A wool pile with symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. In a style faintly reminiscent of Mazlagan, the rug features a straw-sand field with a demarcated hexagonal subfield, centered by an ecru hexagon embedded in a pale blue cartouche medallion with deep, partially serrated edges. Gardens of rosettes decorate the spandrels. Rust is the predominant accent tone. The rust-colored inner border displays a rosette pattern, with a weaving adjustment. In good condition.
