A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation, the light slate-grey field features a characteristic Malayer variant of the Herati design, with a full-length central column of fringed diamonds, bent leaves, rosettes, and smaller diamonds. The strip-style straw-colored main border is adorned with reversing pyramidal ragged palmettes.
