A vintage Persian Malayer rug. En suite to rug # 25777, but with a more straw palette. The dark brown outlined rosette and palmette pattern come forwards, but the essential Herati lozenge/diamonds in sandy eggshell retreat to give an in-and-out pattern definition. Sandy ivory botehs are chained in the minor borders of this west Persian rustic Dozar.
