A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. A visual pair to rug # 27894. The six full lozenges of the central, fringed pole medallion enclose alternately rosettes and palmettes. The sharply bent barbed leaves are accented by rosettes, in a modified Herati allover pattern. Slate grey field. Straw plain corners. Straw-sand main border with reversing ragged, triangular palmettes. Rustic work on cotton.
