A vintage Persian Northwest rug. The narrow black field has a three hexagonal medallion layout in Caucasian kilim style while the ecru main border shows Serab-like squares and bud and vine arrays. The orange and black minor borders appear only at top and bottom of this NW Persian rustic ruglet. The intermixture of Sarab and Shirvan/Shah Savan elements indicates proximity to the border.
