A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Axially reflective in pattern, the red field depicts animal combats, birds, and warriors attacking stylized rampant lions with daggers. Dervishes wield axes and kashkuls, while peacocks, boteh, and pairs of men converse around radiant floral vases, all inscribed in small cartouches. A black tree trunk divides the scenes. The slender ecru border features barbed leaves, rosettes, and palmettes.
