A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Dated 1386= 1966 approx. Inscribed. The brisk red field displays a central tree of life which is guarded by two sword-bearing lions at the bases, and host pairs of sheep, wolves, bears, peacocks, dogs, doves, lions and other assorted fowls and fauna. Yellow-straw narrow border with simple rosettes and zig-zag leaves. Hairline end reduction. But a charming rug overall.
