Wool warp faced weave on wool. Originally a long band, this colorful tribal cover shows a repeating square pattern in red, green and blue, within a yellow grid work. A few minor darned repairs add to the general authenticity, and serve as signs of age and use. Probably Qashghai or Khamseh work.
