This Neo-Egyptian mat depicts the weighing of souls, with the god Anubis on the left, other gods and goddesses grouped around, and the hound of hell positioned below, ready to devour the souls of the unworthy. A band of pseudo-hieroglyphs appears just above, topped by a row of figures. Rust-red ground.
