A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The forked arabesque, a mainstay of Islamic art, appears here with a distant relation to those found on the Garrus Bidjar, arranged in two implicit columns on a light slate field. The strapwork arabesques define small reserves containing generic flowers. The light slate border features elaborately reversing palmettes.
