A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation, woven with a short warp. A visual pair to rug # 20914. The saturated coral-red field presents four sword-bearing, stylized ecru lions, arranged pairwise around an unusual, colorful stepped ornament balanced on a speckled red sphere. Small flowers appear in the available reserves. A near-black main border with squared S-motifs is flanked by bitonal black-and-white reciprocal pyramid minors.
