A vintage Persian Shiraz Square rug. An en suite pair. On a red ground, a Herati design features black, hooked diamonds, rosettes, and sand ‘fish’ leaves. he pattern is not uniformly closely packed, allowing the red ground to show through effectively. The weave is quite fine for south Persian saddlebag faces.
