Curving leaves and racemes bend around rosettes in a swirling motion on an oatmeal ground. The border displays palmettes alternating with baling-hook leaves. Like all Persian rugs from Tabriz, the execution is neat and balanced, the pile stands short and erect and the weave is close and regular.
