A vintage Persian Tabriz Pictorial rug. A ruined archway, probably adapted from an image of the Blue Mosque in Tabriz, stands tall against a cloud-streaked sky. A slender tree and a fall of masonry occupy the foreground of this very finely knotted Tabriz pictorial. The brown border imitates a carved picture frame.
