A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation, featuring rows upon rows of small nested squares that completely cover the field. The square motif continues on a reduced scale in the guard stripes as well. Lines of lighter squares appear at both ends of the field. The navy main border is adorned with short rows of small hexagons or lozenges.
