Wool pattern warps and wefts in a warp- and weft-faced plainweave. This four-section flatweave shows a jaunty near-black and ecru plaid picnic-blanket pattern with minimal offsetting. One column is particularly light, and when two are joined a central axis is created. Suitable for upholstery, pillows, or wall decoration. Qashghai tribal work.
