Vintage Persian Veece Room Size Carpet

A Wool pile with asymmetric knots on an all-cotton foundation. Vintage. The Veece style is unique, with bold claws extending from the corners, locking into the straw-cream field, and reaching toward the hexagonal and lozenge shapes at the center. The hexagons, lozenges, and pendants are densely hooked. Warm accents of madder rust, old gold, and light blue add depth. The light blue main border features straw and rust-red escutcheon palmettes and light octagons. A village rug that confidently follows its own stylistic path.
