This incredible tribal piece features severely stylized figures on a near-black ground, including horsemen, hunting riders, camels, goats, animal combats, snakes attacking human figures, and various smaller animals such as birds and quadrupeds, along with tiny geometrical devices filling every available space. The multiple narrow borders are decorated with arrowhead chains, chevrons, and repeating S-shaped motifs. This semi-abstract design and intricate detail make it a striking piece, likely intended as a wall hanging.
