A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. This striking rustic carpet shows a rust-red field with a decoration of full and partial octagons in green and crimson, with red and green centers respectively. The red medallions have ragged green central motives while the green ones show ragged wreaths. Stark white (cotton) and black accents, along with a central herringbone spine. Very narrow dotted border. Kars carpets are a welcome addition to the corpus of Anatolian rugs.
