Wool pattern wefts on cotton, in slit tapestry technique. Woven in two pieces. This unusually room sized flatweave shows unsynchronized bands in strongly abrashed pale blue, brown, rose-red, cream and rust, with a uniform pattern of lozenges and kilim-style branches. Red/brown bitonal reciprocal border. Dark brown central linear join leaf motives and accents in goldenrod, light blue and sandy straw.
