Wool warp with wool pattern wefts in slit tapestry technique. This kilim version of the popular vintage Kars carpet features three columns of coral, beige, white cotton, and straw pole designs, with conjoint hexagons on a visually abrashed medium coral-brown field. The main border consists of S-shaped motifs, and there are white cotton guard stripes within the border system. Generally robust and long-wearing. In good condition.
