A Wool pattern wefts in slit tapestry (kilim) technique. This unusual strip features a red field with two vertical bands, each adorned with geometric flowers. The piece is finished with dark blue and red end panels, each enclosing five floating, arched compartments. Ivory bands with four-headed botehs precede the mihrab panels. It appears to be a section from a much larger, complete rug.
