A wool pile with asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation, the medium brown field features a six-by-five array of lightly lobed ogival medallions alternating in cream, straw, and brown, with cloud-like square bands, palmettes, and converging double fronds, along with rosettes in the defined reserves. The narrow sand-colored main border displays small cypresses, irises, and palmettes. The knotting is even and precise, and the piece is well-woven overall. The design appears to be inspired by Persian Kermans, but it is not an Indo-Kerman.
