An antique Indian Lahore Pictorial rug. A confused-looking stag centers the design of this wild pictorial. Giant acanthus shapes define the narrow red field and roses accent the lower corners. This must have been taken from a European print. The small, square size makes it a thoroughly amusing wall hanging.
