A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The light, densely abrashed slate field shows a compact version of the “Garrus” design of red and rust split arabesques and ecru lazy palmettes. There is also a light straw formal, stiff vinery receding behind the main pattern. Ecru ivory strip style border with revering palmettes grounded uniformly in double sickle leaves. Solidly robust and compact in weave.
