A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The field abrashes from pale blue to powder while showing an eight-fold columnar pattern of characteristic four lobe cartouches, along with pairs of rosettes, pairs of palmettes and copious small, barbed leaves everywhere. Strip style main red border of reversing turtles and a similar, contrasting second main surround. Very weighty, solid and robust weave with highly resilient wool.
