A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation, dated 1330 (1912). This intriguing runner (kenare), woven by Kurdish artisans from the Greater Hamadan Weaving Area, features a tripartite field. The navy-colored ends are adorned with ascending offset rows of geometric flowers and a few filler botehs, while the center showcases a panel with three late Qajar officials. Paired nationalist lion and sun motifs are closely positioned above and below. The rust-pink corners are decorated with stylized birds, and the ecru main border displays reversing palmettes within an octagonal design, framed by a double meander. The date is inscribed at the upper point of the field.
