An antique Persian Tabriz Hagi Jalili rug. A stepped and lobed pointed elliptical medallion is set on the barely pinched, cartouche-shaped rust subfield, which, in turn, is carefully placed on the golden beige field. The widely spread flattened blue meander of the main border breaks at the corners in this finely woven ruglet from the very desirable Tabriz ‘Hajji Jalili’ period.
