Antique Persian Heriz Accent Rug

A Wool pile with symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. In an unusual size and with an uncommon palette, this large scatter rug features an abrashed light blue-grey field with geometric floral vines embracing a rust-red medallion, centered by a dark-blue pointed cruciform sub-medallion. Ragged palmette medallion pendants and stepped ecru corners complete the design. The rust-red main border, balanced with bold upright stemmed flowers, adds a striking frame. While most Herizes are room-sized, this one has all the design strength of its larger counterparts.
