A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The scarlet field shows a balanced allover pattern of smooth and petal palmettes in various sizes, along with sinuous cloud bands. The large palmettes and cinched cloud bands at the center form an implicit focus around which the other elements are symmetrically placed. The green main border shows reversing petal and smooth palmettes. Fine weave and good quality wool.
