A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This distinctive kenare (runner) features a camel-tone field overlaid with a small lattice design. The wide dark slate-charcoal border alternates smooth and indented ecru diamonds with diamond-shaped cartouches enclosing potted flowering plants. A particularly interesting example of post-WWII craftsmanship.
