A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The sandy-straw field features three complete offset columns of Herati modules, including open diamonds, palmettes, rosettes, and sickle leaves. The design is well-balanced in all directions, with no end slippage. A madder-red strip-style border in the Mahal tradition frames the field with angular palmettes, rosettes, and sickle leaves. Classic Persian size and format.
