A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. In an Anatolian style, but with more assertive colors, this versatile piece features a crisp plain red field supporting a lobed hexagonal ecru medallion with a simple rosette and double arabesque pattern. Chrome yellow corners. An ecru border with butterfly leaves and knobby florets, and a red outer border with floating yellow and straw dots, complete the composition.
