A wool pile with asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The powder-colored field displays a disjointed Harshang pattern, accented with ragged palmettes, wonky 'goosenecks,' and other flowing motifs. The wide variety of accent tones includes rust, blues, dark brown, brick, red-rust brown, yellow-green, straw yellow, and cream. The rust-red strip-style border features reversing pseudo-turtle palmettes and rosettes. A good example of the transition from Sultanabads to Mahals in the early 20th century. In good condition.
